We have been going 100 miles an hr!! fun Halloween in California, came home (I was sick) did a friend bday party and latter that night a grown up / Family party .. than back to life . On the 8th you went out with Brian, Mandy ,And Max to breakfast! such a special day ... I have been going to bed at the same time as you and not taking the time to Blog to you ! I will catch up this weekend! I love you my big girl! you are a perfect and wonderful lil lady !! happy 4th Birthday!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

I have felt many times that it is hard to understand what he and so many have done I believe in peace and talking, not fighting... but not everyone does, and with out brave men and women to protect our freedom to believe in peace, well, we wouldn't have it!

Hey Indra!

Things for us in the Army here are closing down. We are closing all the cool buildings, getting them ready to give back to Iraq, so we can come home.

As such, all the cool palaces are getting closed off. I basically have to sneak in now.

Attached are two pictures of your art displayed in a mansion on a little island in a small lake we all call Lost Lake. I took the liberty of posing with one of your paintings.

Some time around September we sent a box to one of Papa's friends who is in the army. you sent him pictures and treats this is what he sent you...

The stories behind this place aren't very nice.

Things here are getting weird with everyone leaving, as far as getting into these places. Involves some sneaking around.

You ask about Papa a-lot and I tell you every thing I can. I am honest with you about who he was what he was like and how he died. I will never understand why things happened like they did,I will never be ok with what happened. But, I will always ALWAYS be honest with you about how I feel and how it has changed me/us...I will always tell you how I feel. I will also tell you how strong it has made us!!!

summer goal

I had a goal this summer....and as it comes to a close I feel like i have accomplished my goal

commit time undivided to my Lu-lu. I loved every minute of it an an sad to see it coming to a close, I feel like I have become closer to her than I ever would have had I not been a stay at home mom this summer.

Soon she will go to pre K and it makes me excited and sad. she is growing so fast and growing into such a wonderful person. I know that full school is so close and I start school soon and our relationship will change....but.... I also know that forever we will have this summer .

I will always enjoy and remember what this summer meant to us! Pete was with us every step. we didn't always feel it but he is here and  know that he is proud of us. Proud of the family we have become!

Goal accomplished...

now to move to the next step in out Jurney....work on me to be a better mamma, be the mamma Lu-lu will always look up to , be that strong mamma that she will fell proud to have....

Another Memory of b4 we knew there was a you!

I was driving home alone from your Aunt Mandy and Uncle Brian's house I was thinking about what it was like b4 u? It was a good time and papa and i had an adventure every day, there was always some thing missing. we used to get on the motorcycle when ever we wanted and just ride. wander here and there dream about what to do next ... than one day our dream of what to do next was to finish out family.. there was this moment when it was like we want a baby a little us...
it took time u didn't come right away but when we knew there was you .. we were scared, and excited and knew that you were what would complete us!
Lu-Lu every day I look into your eyes and see the future ,I see a lil girl growing into an independent wonderful woman but I also see your Papa looking out threw your  eyes , he is with you every day, we may not see him but I just know that he doesn't stay far from you . He loves you, the moment you were born i saw a light in his eyes i hadn't ever seen, it was a look of pure unconditional Love!!

a time before you...

I sit at the table here and think about the time before you....
the first spring we liven in this house we did not have the flowers we have now,  yea we had a few here and there.

 We had the roses the iris's and some of the tulips ... but Mama and Papa didnt really know what was a flower and what was a weed. So , to make yard work fun that year and to learn what to keep and what to pull out we called up our moms (you know them as Grammy Diane and Grammy Betty) and we played a game. A game we made up called Weed/flower.... and yea it was still yard work and it was hot and messy and their were bugs and spiders and yuck... but it was fun.

  Days like that are such good memories to have! I remember seeing Papa on the back wall trying to cut down branches and dig out some iris ,He was a yell-in and sweating getting so sunburned , and on top of that he almost fell a few times. just thinking of it I smile! In the end we ended up with a wonder full yard but most of all a wonderful memory! I truly hope that we can create wonderful memories like that together!!
